Part 1 of a 3-day Speaking Tour for Palestine Children's Relief Fund.
The title of Dr. Finkelstein's talk will be: "Israel and Palestine: Roots of conflict, Prospects for peace." The talk will follow a brief presentation and slideshow by Dr. Basil Hanstash (of the PCRF), who has recently returned from the Occupied Territories.
Norman Finkelstein was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1953. He is the son of Maryla Husyt Finkelstein, survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto, Maidanek concentration camp, and Zacharias Finkelstein, survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto, Auschwitz concentration camp. He dedicated his first book to his parents in which he wrote: "May I never forgive or forget what was done to them."

Co-hosted by SJP and SUSTAIN (Stop U.S. Tax Aid To Israel Now), this event will feature a report back from a SUSTAIN delegation's recent trip to Palestine. The presentation will include a short film screening, individual presentations, and Q&A.
