Federal Gov't Subpoenas College for Info on Peace Activists
The government has subpoenaed Drake University in Iowa to hand over information about who organized and who attended a National Lawyers Guild anti-war forum in November. Lawyers say they have not seen such subpoenas since the McCarthy era....

Once again Liberals are showing their total lack of spine and total lack of ability to strike the iron while the iron is white hot. This is what happened when they declared their control over the peace movement that rose up against the war in Iraq by stating they were "backing away from more confrontational forms of protest like non-violent civil disobedience like blocking traffic in the streets of major cities" in the U.S. in March and April of last year....

orders the university to divulge all records relating to the local
chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, a New York-based legal
activist organization that sponsored the forum....

Peak oil is declining, we are heading 4 petroleum collapse. After Iraq's oil wells dry out, Syria will be targeted in the "war on terror". After the oil collapse, people will need alternative means of survival. Growing food in urban gardens on wasted space like lawns and parking lots would help people survive the food shortage.....
