Protest

Palo Alto, CA

Today the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that new restrictions set by U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk for the distribution of mifepristone, commonly called "the abortion pill", will not go into effect immediately. While this is being seen as a definite win for defenders of reproductive rights, they warn it could well be temporary. SCOTUS should have refused to hear the case out of hand!

This case should have been laughed out of court from the very start, but it will continue. Extremists will continue try to ban abortion at the federal level.

WE rally in King Plaza
250 Hamilton Ave. Palo Alto
At 1pm on Saturday April 22

WHY PROTEST SCOTUS?

*disabled Roe v. Wade
*Clarence Thomas shenanigans
*The Supreme Court is bound and determined to ban abortion nationwide
*They will mess with our voting rights
*ICWA, the Indian Child Welfare Act, is up for their consideration...will they vote to preserve it? You can bet they won't!

Bring signs if you can however... WE HAVE SOME SIGNS AND BANNERS TO HOLD!

See you there...
