Joining WorkWeek radio is Carlos Taboada who is a former Richmond High UTR teacher and activist against privatization and charters in the West Contra Costa School District and ran for the board as a candidate opposing charters.
Also joining WorkWeek is Jack Gerson, a retired activist of the Oakland Education Association OEA and the California Teachers Association CTA. They discuss the attacks and the role of both the AFT and NEA in accepting charters and the Democrats who pushed No Child Left Behind and other corporate schemes to privatize education.
