Geographically Challenged Palin Screws Up in Burlingame, CA
Palin began her remarks at an appearance in San Mateo County, California by saying she was glad to be in Marin County. Her winks and waves have inspired San Franciscans and surrounding area residents to roast her with costumes and look-alike contests.

The *Daily Post* which covers San Francisco and the peninsula reported that inside the Burlingame Hyatt Regency Palin, "began her remarks by saying she was in Marin County." Burlingame is a suburb in the county of San Mateo which is SOUTH of San Francisco and has some of the richest and poorest cities in the Bay area. Marin, on the other hand is one of the across the board richest counties in California and is north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge.
San Franciscans are now inspired more than ever to have a Look-Alike Contest, likely to turn into a Palin Roast, details of which are here:
Contestants needed for The Sarah Palin Look-alike Contest on Wed, October 22nd @ 8pm at San Francisco's Brava Theater (24th St @ York, in the Mission).
The contest is part of The 5th (& Final) George Bush Going Away Party: An
Evening of Political Comedy that will be held in SF, Berkeley, San Rafael, and Santa Cruz, Oct 22-25. The contest will take place only at the SF show.
Palinistas will be judged on the basis of appearance and knowledge of
foreign policy. Actually, you will be asked to do an (up to 30-second) SP
impersonation.
First Prize:
A Sarah Palin makeover (to maintain or get rid of your Sarah Palin look) at
San Francisco's "Glamarama Salon." Value: Priceless ($75).
**Glasses are not included.
Runner up prizes to be announced.
The contest will be open to a limited number of contestants. Interested contestants should e-mail lisag [at] igc.org , send a photo, and say a little about yourself.
