President Bush and a 2008 Black History Message ~ California American River Parkway

by Khubaka, Michael Harris (blackagriculture [at] yahoo.com)
In 1954 the U.S. Government found it necessary to further destroy the legacy of African American Pioneers by forever calling them "Unknown Niggers." Today, a stolen legacy continues unchallenged by modern day residents whom choose to ignore the notion of "one nation under GOD, with liberty and justice for all"

President Bush may come to the California American River Parkway and remove the ugliest racial name in America from the tombstone of free African Americans whom migrated to early California to establish towns in Gold Rush California.

Local, regional and statewide leadership acknowledge the injustice and seem to ignore the difficult task of multi-agency coordination to forever remove injustice and restore dignity to the African American contribution to the Great State of California.

The Stolen Legacy of Leidesdorff Ranch symbolizes the ongoing struggle to share the great accomplishments by people of African Ancestry to the United States of America.

Yes, the noose was a symbol of hatred and the ongoing death, destruction and economic theft remain barriers to the American Dream for many whom yearn for equal opportunity, even in the gravesite of Gold Rush California.

The U.S. Government in 1954 was the signature to this disgrace.

It seems that Presidential action is required to bring necessary grace into Mormon Island Relocation Cemetery to 36 graves of U.S. pioneers, today known as the "unknown niggers."
