Please get the word out about the Massive Protest for Change on April 29 at the Democratic State Convention in Sacramento!
MASSIVE PROTEST FOR CHANGE APRIL 29:
A PEOPLE'S RALLY AT THE DEMOCRATIC STATE CONVENTION
FOCUSES ON IMMIGRANT RIGHTS, WAR & OTHER PROGRESSIVES CAUSES

*Immigrant rights *bring the troops home now *drivers licenses for all
*amend 3-strikes *abolish the death penalty *legalize gay marriage
*rescind the Patriot Act *defend public education *impeach Bush
*healthcare for all *defend union rights *living wage for all *raise the
minimum wage *save Roe v Wade *tax the rich *make renewable energy a
real priority

If these are among issues you feel passionate about, then join us April
29 at the State Capitol. This will be a large protest and serve to also
rally us for the upcoming, mass marches on May 1st. All the news media
will be "covering" the convention - let's give them a real progressive
story to write about.

Saturday, April 29
Meet at State Capitol (11th & L St. North Steps) at 11 a.m.
March to the Convention Center (14th & J) for rally 12 Noon-3 p.m.

Whether you're a Democrat, who is tired of compromise, or you've already
decided that Democrats are part of the problem, then come join a mass
rally and march to raise our voices - altogether, as one - for peace,
social justice and the environment.

Hear speakers like Peter Camejo, Barbara Becnel and key social justice leaders
in and out of the Democratic Party talk about how we must make change - today!
