ongoing prison rape in local prisons

On or about the middle of 1995 or first part of 1996, while I was incarcerated at Soledad State Prison (Central), there was an incident at the north facility of Soledad, which involved a young white inmate, age was approximately 20 to 25, there were three black inmates who had intentions of raping this white inmate which I knew only as Snowball. To my knowledge was a straight person, and was only defending himself, killed 2 black inmates in the attack and the third one wasn't expected to live. This white inmate was referred to the district attorney who excepted the case and tried him for murder of the black inmates and was sentenced to another life term.

Approximately 1996, I was transferred to San Quentin State Prison, they (officials) let me out to general population where I was fortunate to last 20 days before I was placed in segregation where I spent better than 2 years. But during the time I was in general population while down in the education area I was approached by 3 Mexicans and forced by knife point to go with them, I was taken to an isolated area and raped by all three Mexicans afterwards was told if I told the man they would kill me.

In late 2005, while I was returning from activities in the yard to my cell, upon opening my cell door, a black inmate forced his was into my cell and made me give him oral copulation, when it was over with the black inmate told me if I told the man he would return and hurt me.

While this was taking place the officer was sitting at the desk reading something, this I had observed when I entered my building going to my cell. This happened at California Men's Colony - East Facility San Luis California.
