Day 4: Children, pregnant women, and thousands of others still have no water

by absolutely sickening
Mind you, this is 4 days into this disaster, and still thousands are barely surviving without major help from the federal governement. Some aren't surviving.
Who was Bush meeting with this morning to "get a handle" on the situation? Alan Greenspan. Priorities?!?

It's absolutely sickening and we should all be ashamed.

If you can afford to give anything, please do. The people of the area can't count on the feds (and unfortunately that's the way BushCo likes it). Make a donation today to the relief effort of your choice, or just go to http://www.redcross.org/ to see what you can do. Money tends to be the best contribution you can make from afar. Also, let your elected officials know you are not happy with the Guard and Bush being AWOL in assisting the victims of this disaster as people continue to die without adequate assistance.
