On August 14, over 700 spent hens from a Central Valley battery egg farm were rescued. Animal Place, Center for Animal Protection & Education and EBAA carried out the rescue. Homes are needed for rescued hens.

EBAA Launches Turkey Production Website

Every year nearly 18 million turkeys are killed for human consumption in California. Since 2003, EBAA has investigated turkey farm operations in California's San Joaquin Valley. EBAA investigators have rescued twenty-seven turkeys from agricultural cruelty.
