Loss of organic gardening column in the Sacramento Bee.

Steven Zien, one of Organic Sacramento's founding members, has been active
in Sacramento for the past 20+ years promoting organic gardening and
lanscaping.  This has for some time included him writing an organic
gardening column in for the Sacramento Bee.

But the Bee has decided to cancel the column, while telling Steven that
organic was becoming main stream.  This doesn't make sense to us.  While
we agree that organic is becoming more and more popular, why would the Bee
stop featuring this column?

We would like to see more organic articles, not fewer.  If you care at all
about this, write a letter to the editor, or come to our meeting.  We also
might circulate a petition.

==========================================================================
We hope you will take action on these issues and more that we are all
concerned about.  You can always find out more at our web-site,
organicsacramento.org, with updates on the schedules.
