MERCED: Let's Get Engaged!

Marriage Equality California has kicked off its monthlong Get Engaged
Tour, and we have a team crisscrossing the Valley looking for
dedicated people who support marriage for all.

Team 6 will be visiting Merced on February 20 at 2pm for lunch at
Carrow's, 720 Motel Road, 95340. Everyone interested in local
organizing and marriage is welcome! (The lunch is dutch treat off the
menu; the meetup is free.)

We know that the work we do in the Central Valley is at least as
valuable, if not more so, as the efforts of our brethren in the
bigger cities. SF, LA, SF...everyone knows they're gay! However,
when we get organized here, it means we are that much closer to
achieving the goal of full equality for LGBT people.
