12/1: Nationwide Protest- Families Before Fostercare!!

ROSA PARKS DAY
PROTEST!
SET OUR CHILDREN FREE!
Foster children have families! Foster children have roots! They have a heritage that
must be honored and maintained! Our family trees are becoming stumps and our
children are becoming “Nationalized” by the Child Protective Services…this practice
of adopting children to non-related foster families must stop! CPS is acting in the
capacity of a federally funded adoption agency, and our children are being used to
fund this agency. If you are the parent or extended family member (or just someone
who cares) of a foster child, and you have been unjustly denied custody, join us in
our protest on Dec. 1st 2004 Rosa Parks Day, to bring CPS into compliance with the
law.

Please help us to “Set the Children Free” and reunify families. We need activists to
print off this flyer and distribute it to all CPS offices in the State. We need to
find families committed to showing up on this day and speaking out in a strong voice
against the injustice of having our families destroyed by CPS. We need to actively
participate in a Nation wide protest that will bring CPS under public scrutiny, and
we need to follow in the footsteps of our predecessors…public protest works! Be a
part of the movement to “Set the Children Free” We can bring our children home. They
are depending on us to do so…….
