Join Labor On The Job when we examine the growing healthcare crisis in San Francisco. With guests from the San Francisco Emergency Para Medics (EMS) including John Meade, president of EMS Chapter SEIU 790 and SEIU 790 shop steward Larry Bradshaw. We will investigate the efforts to privatize the para-medics and create a two tier system.
We will also interview Radiological Technician Dan Sdcoris about the crisis at San Francisco General Hospital including the sick-out and suicide of rad-tech steward Ken Gilmore and the efforts of the Department of Public Health department head Katz to punish the radiology techs with lay-offs for their work action.
We also will present part of the international labor solidarity night in Washington D.C. with international delegates from around the world who were participating in the October 17 Million Worker March.


"Labor On The Job" is programmed the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month on San Francisco Cable Channel 29 at 8:00 PM.
