Okay, it's time to get serious. You've given money. You've debated
politics at work. You've sent in your absentee ballot. Now is your
chance to roll up your sleeves and get into the thick of it... and by
the thick of it, I mean Las Vegas.

As you probably know, Nevada is a swing state, and Las Vegas happens
to be the most densely populated area of the state. This means that
the battle this November will be fought and won against a background
of glittering lights and $5 buffets.

As with every battle, we need ground troops. Specifically, we need to
flood Sin City with volunteers dedicated to electing pro-choice
leaders. Big budget ads, media coverage, and emails don't ensure that
pro-choice voters actually get to the polls! To Get Out The Vote in
Las Vegas, we need over 1,000 pro-choice activists knocking on doors,
organizing phone banks and identifying voters.

Which is where YOU come in. If you have a day, a weekend, or more we
need you to help us elect a pro-choice leader, by going to Las Vegas.
Nevada is an "Early Vote" State. Which means voters can go to the
polls starting October 16 through 29 as well as on November 2.
Volunteers are needed in Las Vegas on the following weekends:

October 16 and 17
October 23 and 24
October 30 and 31
November 2

First step: "Yes, I'm in! (As long as I can go to the Celine Dion
concert on the 3rd ) I'm there!"

Second step: How?!

In coordination with America Votes, we have precinct walks, phone
banks and other GOTV work set up for you to plug into and be
effective. If you want to go, we'll find a way to get you there. Once
you arrive, there are program leaders (we'll even train you to be one
if you want!) who will tell you what needs to be done and how to do
it. All you have to do is email Triana Silton at
trianasilton [at] hotmail.com and sign up to go to Vegas.

In the email be sure to include the following:
1) That you're with NARAL Pro-Choice California
2) That you can volunteer in Las Vegas from ____ to ____
3) The best way to get in touch with you

Someone will contact you with the details, answer any questions, and,
of course, make sure you are ready to head into battle!
