Freeway Bloggers Draw Large Police Presence
Freeway Bloggers with signs reading "NO WAR" and another sign with one of the Abu Ghraib torture victims drew honks of approval plus a few fingers from freeway traffic below.
Approximately 15 police cars showed up on account that someone called up and said that we were climbing the fence.

After being out on the highway overpass for about an hour we noticed a police car waiting on the other side of the overpass. Soon, about 15 police cars starting coming from the police station on Winton Ave. in Hayward to check us out. Even if we were climbing the fence, which we weren't, why would they need so many officers for our small group of five unless it was just to intimidate us. Talk about overkill.
It would be interesting to see how many others have seen such a show of force for practicing their civil rights.
