Join us for an evening of speakers, musical performances, food! A benefit for the Prison Activist Resource Center.

FEATURED SPEAKERS (7-8 p.m.):
Formerly incarcerated youth: contributors to "Through the Eyes of the Judged: Autobiographical Sketches by Incarcerated Young Men." These writings were produced by the Gateway Program, a partnership between the Evergreen State College and Maple Lane School, a nearby youth prison.
Lige Dailey, Jr: poet, writer, psychologist, former prisoner. Dr. Dailey spent 8 years inside Soledad and San Quentin and earned a Ph.D. after his release.
Terry Kupers, M.D.: author of "Prison Madness: The
Mental Health Crisis Behind Bars and What We Must Do About It" and co-editor of "Prison Masculinities."
MUSICAL PERFORMERS (8-9 p.m.):
Goggle with special guest Kahlil Shaheed on
trumpet (Improvizational jazz). Goggle is:
Jeff Hobbs, saxophone
William Foster, guitar
Reed Johnston, bass
Dean Cook, drums
Admission Cost: Requested Donation $10-40. No one
turned away for lack of funds.
