It's not what Arnold Schwarzenegger did to the girls a decade back that should raise an eyebrow. According to a series of memoranda our office obtained today, it's his dalliance with the boys in a hotel room just two years ago that's the real scandal.
The wannabe governor has yet to deny that on May 17, 2001, at the Peninsula Hotel in Los Angeles, he had consensual political intercourse with Enron chieftain Kenneth Lay. Also frolicking with Arnold and Ken was convicted stock swindler Mike Milken.
Now, 34 pages of internal Enron memoranda have just come through this reporter's fax machine tell all about the tryst between Maria's husband and the corporate con men. It turns out that Schwarzenegger knowingly joined the hush-hush encounter as part of a campaign to sabotage a Davis-Bustamante plan to make Enron and other power pirates then ravaging California pay back the $9 billion in illicit profits they carried off.

Arnold is kinda like a mixture between Bill Clinton and David Duke.
Who exactly wants Arnold as governor?
Not the religious right:
-He used to be into group sex, getting blow jobs before speechs and he was even into rimming (according to an accusation form a woman who claims he pulled her onto his lap and whispered something in her ear about sticking his tongue up her ass)
-He not only smoked pot and inhaled but used his first movie to promote pot use
Not traditional California Republians:
-Hes for healthcare for illegal immigrants and will give more money to school
-His economic spokesperson made some very strong statements against prop 13
-He will have to raise taxes once he gets in office if he wants to deal with the budget
Not Minorities
-Arnold known racist whose atempts to cover up his Nazi sympathies seems too contrived (donation to Jewish centers in LA doesnt really cover up his past)
-Arnold is backed by Pete Wilson, who even Republicans tried to distance themselves from since he was seen as a liability in terms of Hispanic voters
Not tax payers
-Arnold helped the state go bankrupt by backing Enron's scams that cost California millions
So who exactly wants him to be governor?
Im guessing people just dont know enough about him. Many Republicans are voting for him since hes a member of their party and many others may vote for him since they are fans of his movies (and see him as a political outsider).
The only clear force that wants Arnold elected is the national (rather than state) Republican party. Ever since Reagan they have been looking for a new popular leader and they for some crazy reason assume that Arnold's film popularity will help promote Republicanism. The funny part is that it will backfire. Reagan actually had to memorize lines in his movies (wheras Arnold rarely says more than a few grunts in most of his). Reagan ran on rightwing issues wheras Arnold is purposely not saying where he satnds on anything and only running on his fame. The end result of this whole fiasco will hopefully be a huge blow to the national Republican Party. When Arnold messes up the state, people will be more likely to associate some frankenstein looking steroid product who drives a Hummer with Republicanism. Arnold will be very effective in promoting the ideas that the Republican ideology is based on flashy smoke and mirror tricks but under the surface its just a bunch of greedy halfwits who want power, money, sex and drugs.
