American Jews Need to Make a Bold Statement to Sharon

American Jews would be well advised to follow the lead of a highly visible and influential group of about 40 British Jews who publicly stated about a month ago, that they refuse their "right to return" to Israel, that is until all 5 million Palestinians are allowed their right to return first to their ancestral homeland in Palestine-Israel which is their right according to UN Resolutions, International Law and world opinion. They made the front pages of newspapers in Britain, and the story was widely circulated via the internet.

Most Americans are not aware of the fact that Israel considers all Jews citizens of Israel, and as soon as a Jewish person steps foot on Israel, he or she has the right to buy land, vote or serve in the Israeli army, and all this without risking the loss of their US citizenship.

Therefore, all Jews are actually Israeli Americans, unless they do not consider themselves Zionists (http://www.jewsnotzionists.org and http://www.jewsagainstzionism.com).

Since Israel simply could not survive without the enormous financial aid provided by the US, as well as the "moral" support from the US that protects Israel from being completely condemned by the rest of the world with regards to UN resolutions, American Jews have a big responsibility in the way Israel conducts itself.

Most everyone is well aware now of the role Jewish Israeli lobby groups play in dominating US politicians. AIPAC (American Israeli Public Affairs Committee), for instance, is rapidly entering mainstream Americans' radar, and being recognized as the powerful, highly influential Jewish lobby group that it is.

Obviously the number one reason that the US gives so much financial aid to Israel is largely due to such influential Jewish lobby groups as AIPAC and JINSA.

As more and more Americans become aware of the manipulation of American politics to serve the narrow, self interests of Jews, the more Jews will be resented by non-Jewish Americans. Additionally, as other facts surface such as the treacherous incident of Israeli aggression against theUSS Liberty incident, Sharon's bloodthirsty history with regards to the 1982 Sabra and Shatilla massacres, and the truth about how unfairly the Palestinians have been dispossessed from their own homeland to make way for a Jewish supremacist country become absorbed by Americans who are not Jewish, the more Jews will be resented for their self-serving hypocrisy.

On top of that, many Americans believe, logically, that it is because of the unconditional and blind US support for Israel despite the fact that Israel is a racist, apartheid country that has defied 80 UN Resolutions (as opposed to Iraq's defiance of 14 UN Resolutions) who is guilty of ethnically cleansing Palestinians from their ancestral homeland of Palestine, that the US itself has now become a target of terrorism and is becoming widely hated and resented throughout the world, even in Europe.

American citizens are becoming increasingly more angry and resentful that the United States of America has seemingly become the United States of Israel. The toxic atmosphere of Israel has now extended to America, as the result of the United States of America funding and unconditionally supporting the hellishly racist country of Israel, which has become an army with a country, rather than a country with an army.

American Jews should take heed of the direction this is all leading to. You have the power now to turn the tide of the mass destruction and endless war that is sure to continue as the result of apartheid Israel, and its continuing practice of ethnic cleansing.

Take the cue from the British Jews: renounce your "right to return" until Israel becomes a true democracy, with equal rights for all regardless of religion, race or sex, including all 5 million Palestinian refugees who must be allowed their right to return to their ancestral homeland in order for true justice and a lasting peace to ensue. Israel, in all fairness, must become a secular democracy, re-named Palestine-Israel. It can no longer strive to be a Jewish state, as that is impossible without the immoral practice of ethnic cleansing and the resulting lack of justice and peace, adversely affecting the rest of the world as well. But it can be a home for Jews, and many others from different cultures and religions. Just like in America.

But we are rapidly spiralling downward in every way unless extremely bold acts of moral courage are taken. American Jews, you've got your work cut out for you!
