Palestine Book Tour

by Todd C (ChretienTodd [at] aol.com)
notice for book tour and protest in Bay Area
Dear Friends,

There are 50,000 US troops in the Persian Gulf region and Bush is preparing to send thousands more in the coming weeks. It looks like Bush, with or without UN blessing, plans his war sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, Israeli troops are demolishing Palestinian Authority headquarters and the Sharon cabinet is discussing the possibility of driving hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from there homes and out of the Occupied Territories under the cover of a US war on Iraq.

In these dangerous times we need to show our opposition to the drive to war and begin discussing what type of politics we need in the short and long run to build a better world. Please join us for two important events this week: the Struggle for Palestine book tour and the September 28th protest. As always, please let me know if you have any questions or would like to get involved.

In Solidarity,
Todd Chretien
