Israel to bisect West Bank into eight enclosures
Al-Khalil, May 16, IRNA -- Emulating the defunct South African white supremacist apartheid regime, Israel has decided to bisect the West Bank into five bantustans cut off from each other and isolated from the outside world.
Foreign diplomats in al-Qods said Thursday the regime of Ariel Sharon had already approved the plan which is beginning to take effect.
The five Bantustans or enclosures are the Khlail area, the Bethlehem district, Ramallah, Nablus, Tulkarm, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Jericho.
According to the apartheid plan, Palestinians wouldn't be able to travel from one district to the other unless they receive a special permit from the Israeli intelligence service, the Shin Beth.
The flow of goods and services between Palestinian areas will also be restricted and curtailed, said the diplomatic sources.
Palestinian leaders described the Israeli measures as "brash apartheid."

Israel already bars Palestinian motorists from travelling on West Bank roads and often open fire on Palestinians using rugged roads to reach their jobs and businesses.
