Bryan: after being processed and given initial permission to enter.. we were walking into Gaza.. the border police we walked past did not respond.. then an Israeli Captain.. he began grabbing hold of people throwning them to the ground.. our ages from 25 to 75.. pulled out his handgun, threaten to shoot them.. threatened to shoot us all.. punched us, body slammed women.. one woman taken by her shirt, hurled to the ground.. spinal problem now.. punched me right in the jaw.. I have never seen such violence against unarmed.. so many border police, we were forced to stop.. not before every single one of us were attacked.. Dennis: why were you going to Gaza? Bryan: Gaza one of the most crowded areas on the face of the earth.. Israeli squatters.. more Palestinian land confiscated in recent weeks.. Israel bombarded Palestinians.. with F16s, Apache helicopters, with tanks.. demolished homes.. we wanted to see.. what the situation was like.. report back.. they fired live ammunition at us.. finally they brought our buses.. and physically threw us back on the bus.. a 75 year old woman, a border policeman pushed her with all his might.. Dennis: where are you now? Bryan: in Beit Jalla, staying with a family.. part of the Human Shield Project.. Dennis: are you hurt? Dennis: the *holy season* in Palestine? Huwaida: It's very sad.. Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus.. ravaged by Israel.. dozens of tanks in Bethleham.. [also see: 250 internationals attacked in nearby Ramallah].. a young Palestinian boy shot outside the Church of the Nativity.. not a time of happiness, rejoicing.. the Israel government not letting Arafat travel to Bethleham.. despite Vatican.. other churches calling for Israel not to go through with silliness.. Dennis: what will tomorrow's action look like, other actions planned? Huwaida: we will be taking about 100 international activists.. try to provide safe passage for students to go through.. Kissinger called Rumsfeld the most ruthless man he's ever known.. terrorism will increase for sure.. if there is another major attack, Only God Knows what this administration will do..
