US-Backed Butchers in Afghanistan

by sick to death
As soon as northern opposition forces, backed and supported by the United States Government, took command throughout Afghanistan, they began executions of Afghan people. Do you know why we are hated YET?
northernoppositiongoodguys.jpg
As soon as the Northern Alliance had taken Kabul on Nov. 13 (with U.S. bombs paving the way), the executions began. Northern Alliance forces massacred hundreds of people within a matter of hours. Even the pro-war New York Times featured gruesome photos taken at close range of Northern Alliance soldiers gleefully executing Taliban soldiers. They "eagerly executed a Taliban soldier in front of a reporter," according to the Nov. 13 Times. This thirst for blood on the part of the Northern Alliance is more than just an embarrassment for the U.S.–it exposes the barbarism that the U.S. aims to impose on the people of Afghanistan after the bombing stops.

hey genius, no one denies that the NA aren't pretty.

but, they are better then the taliban.

life is full of compromises and second-best options. get used to it
by easy
That's easy for you to say sitting in the comfort of your american home, pig. The U.S. is responsible for the Taliban, al-Qaeda, Northern Opposition, etc. Why don't we get the fuck out and let democracy flourish? Oh yeah. That isnt the american way. And more important, we need that central asian oil.

And you wonder why people around the world hate us? Hell, I'm from here, and I hate you people.
by Ughyeaolittlefaith
Life is full of fools who constantly compromise in order to satisfy the lowest common denominator.

MAybe if people stop compromising and standing up for what is right for a change the world would begin to look more friendly.

by Jack
The asinine comment, "The U.S. is responsible for the Taliban, al-Qaeda" is untrue. The terrorist ring is the product of Islamic anti-American attitude. It has more in common with progressives in the U.S. than with any official branch of government. Normally, when Americans are killed by a foreign entity, such as the sailors killed in Pearl Harbor, the public rallies behind their defense. The new attitude by progressives is that they hate America and take joy at theit death. When American soldiers died in Vietnam, the progessive screamed about how evil America is. They say NOTHING about how evil the communist butchers are, marching civilians to their death.

It is getting old educating everyone ...

Jack, have you been asleep the last 20 years? Islamic fundamentalism was the U.S.'s #1 weapon against Soviet expansion into the Middle East and Central Asia. We funded, armed and worked with the Mujahideen, al-Qaeda, Taliban, Northern Opposition, etc. Before the U.S. got involved, these groups were nobodys with no money and no power. They certainly couldn't get power through democratic means. But Afghanistan doesn't have democratic institutions ... the U.S. Government has been at war with them for decades.

It is universally understood that this entire mess is "blowback" ... in other words, the U.S. created this monster and now it is out of control.

So, before you go mouthing off again, go read a book and find out what the hell you are talking about.
by Jack
Hey, fuckface. I have read history and I worked in Central Asia during the last ten years. I know more about the issue that you could possibly fit into your head. So, asshole, I know that the American mililtary supported Muslims to fight Soviet communism. That was a terrible decision. Were they thankful for our help? No, we armed the attack against us, but their terrorists carried it out. To explain this to an asshole with your limited intelligence, they made the decision to kill thousands of Americans. The blame is 100% upon the al-Queda.

Also, fucker, it is not universally accepted that the attack on America is "blow back." Maybe in your fucked up mind, but it is not universal. So, asshole, do not blame the victim for causing a violent act.

I know you'll just ignore this, and rant back. I won't respond. You don't need to "educate" me, I know the issue well. Why don't you read a book, or better yet, travel outside your little world fucker? Try going to Central Asian and spout your horse shit?

I would love to hear of your torture and death at the hands of Muslim death squads.
by Right Again
Don't waste your time, Jack. They are beneath your dignity. Their opinions mean nothing. They are incapable of thought.

These people revel at Americans killed by foreign terrorists. They are also too god-damned scared to actually go anywhere near Russia or Afghanistan. It's easy to burn a flag in Berkeley. It's hard to do anything constructive.

I learned to never argue with a horse. They could kick you or shit on you. They cannot reason with you.

I worked for a major oil company that was doing exploration in Central Asia. Everyone I met loves America! Our company brought jobs, literacy, and a new standard of living. Our opposition came from American protesters that said we had no right to help people.

Wow, amazingly, two stupid posts! The right-wing troll is posting twice, pretending to be 2 different people! Ahaha.

Anyways, yes, I'm sure that everyone loves U.S. oilmen in Central Asia. Certainly, there are people who love them. People like the Taliban. And the Northern Opposition armies.

Other people, who are fighting for women's rights, or democracy, or self-determination ... well, they hate U.S. oil interests with a fucking passion. It brings nothing but constant warfare to their homes, as can be seen by the events going on now and for the past 20 years.

Their thoughts and ideas are posted on this site. Their thoughts and ideas are not in the U.S. Government's plans for central Asia.

Your patriotism is a weak substitute for rational discussion.
by Jon
and whining is also a weak excuse for rational discussion.

instead of going on about how awful the NA is (which EVERYONE admits too) why don't you come up with alternative solutions?

instead of whining about the war, why not come up with alternatives that'll end the bin-ladin and al-qaeda threat?

oh wait, its because whining is easier then thinking.

no one likes the NA. but the fact of hte matter is that short of outright US occupation on par w/ post WWII Germany and Japan there is nothing the US can really do in the region.

oh, i also find it a shining testament to the intellectual capabilities of people here that no one decided to respond to my post "Is this war about oil?" which included a rather brilliant analysis of why oil could not be a reason for this war.

by no other alternative
No other alternative? There are a million alternatives. The facts which you cannot seem to get over is that the US Government has no interest in ending terrorism, in the same way that they have no interest in ending the drug trade.

As for whatever stupid article you posted which no one cared about, you should feel lucky we're giving you this much time. This site does not exist to convince nationalist idiots like yourself. This site exists as a news dissemination service for the worldwide revolution against capitalism and imperialism, which is millions and millions of people strong.
by why
Why even bother talking to Jon? He's an idiot. He should just be ignored, he doesn't post arguments, he posts patriotic rants which don't mean anything. His stupidity is the reason the World Trade Centers got hit. His ignorance is the reason Americans are hated. His kind needs to get out of this country. They aren't patriots; they are appeasers of those who would take away our freedom. And they need to go.
by Jon
if you guys looked at your own comments you'll quickly understand why many people believe in the existence of an authoritarian left.

feel free to reread your stalin and make sure that you have your thought police ready for action if you guys ever take power.

and, alternatives?
name them.

quite frankly, none of them are even halfway possible.

changing US policy in the middle-east only encourages more terrorism

int'l law cannot deal with the apprehension of bin-ladin or his taliban supporters

and the int'l criminal court has no provisions against terrorism.

so, again, no alternatives. merely claiming that "millions" exist while not mentionning any is worthless
by anonymous
Jon, are you sick of posting your half-hearted arguments only to have them shredded by the people on this site?

Really, we need a right-winger on here who can actually argue, not just post random and non-sensical rhetoric and call it "debate"

Jon, the alternative is to quit raping the world for US profit. The alternative is to quit funding and arming terrorists like the Taliban. The alternative is to quit acting like the world is our trashcan and we can do what the fuck we want.

The solution is the END of the US FUCKING EMPIRE.

That's the only solution that will ever bring peace.
