The Mattole Spatula Blockade

The third Freestate blockade named "The Spatula", is a leaning monopole with a pod hanging from it above a steep ravine. The ropes supporting the monopole extend across the logging road. A vehicle attempting to travel along the logging road would bring the occupied pod crashing to the ground. A Forest Defender re-supplies another activist occupying the pod using a rope and pulley.
